I’m in crisis. Is there someone I can talk to?

Are you a person under age 18? Click here for helpful resources.

The Wounded Healer Journal does not offer crisis intervention or any other professional service. If you are in the care of a mental health professional, call them first since they are usually in the best position to understand your immediate needs.

If you are not in immediate crisis and desire to locate a mental health professional in your area, try the Who’s Who in Mental Health on the Web database, which contains practice descriptions of hundreds of social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, and counselors around the world.
